Kraft Paper Shipments Down 3.3% in March

The American Forest & Paper Association reports that in March 2009, total Kraft paper shipments decreased by 3.3% compared to February 2009, a decline of 3600 tons. Total Kraft paper inventory increased 10.3% in March, 7300 tons higher than February.

The Chinese branch of Asia Pulp & Paper Co Ltd, APP-China, recently commissioned Camco to conduct a carbon footprint assessment for six of its leading pulp and paper mills and two forestry plantations in China. "By doing the assessment, APP-China can find opportunities to reduce its emissions," said Sophy Huang, Public Relations Director of APP-China. 1010 Printing has opened an office in Brisbane to service the publishing industry in Australia and New Zealand. Located on Park Road in Milton, the office is a stone’s throw from two major bookstores which Sales Director, Tiffany Johnson, says is a “very useful reference to keep track of what books are being released in the market”.
Tiffany and Simone Delos, the Sales Support Coordinator, have been visiting publishers and increasing the awareness of 1010 Printing by sponsoring different industry events. 1010 has enjoyed a good reputation since its beginning through close relationships with a couple of major publishers in Australia and New Zealand.
